Thicker (10–12mm), highly water-resistant, and highly textured, mimicking real hardwood.

Glue-down (dryback) tiles tend to be cheaper to buy but require perfectly smooth subfloors, driving up preparation costs. Click-lock (rigid core) is generally more expensive to buy but faster and cheaper to fit.
