£15 to £30 extra per m², Intricate cuts and layout designs require more technical precision and time to install.

Installation Method:
Glue-down (dryback) tiles tend to be cheaper to buy but require perfectly smooth subfloors, driving up preparation costs. Click-lock (rigid core) is generally more expensive to buy but faster and cheaper to fit.

Engineered Wood:
£25 – £70 (Multiple layers topped with a real wood veneer; great for underfloor heating).
Solid Hardwood:
£35 – £120+ (One solid piece of timber, like oak, walnut, or maple; highly durable and long-lasting).
Softwood (Pine):
£30 – £40 (Budget-friendly and traditional, but softer and more prone to denting).
